The sewing pattern

Description
What you will learn with this pattern:
- Sewing mesh with or without a serger
- Create a balaclava hood or bib from a piece cut on the fold
- Finishing edges using finishing strips
Recommended fabrics:
- Weight: medium to heavy (200-400 g/m2)
- Fabric: knit (knit, sweatshirt). Caution: fabrics with ribbing should be avoided because of their high tendency to deform!
- Elasticity rate: 40 to 140% max (0-5% elastane)
- Tip (hood): if your fabric is very thick, I recommend choosing a thinner one for the face finishing strip to avoid excess thickness (ribbing possible).
The versions shown were sewn in different sizes depending on the elasticity rate* of the chosen fabric (Johanna's measurements: head circumference = 59.5 cm / wrist = 16 cm):
- Navy hat and mittens: worn with a brown sweater CAPSULE and brown EQUILIBRE pants
- Short gray leo plastron hood: worn with a gray coat FLOW then a gray SOLSTICE jacket
- Leo hat and mittens: worn with an ALCÔVE sleeveless sheepskin jacket
- Beige hat and mittens: worn with a brown ALCÔVE sleeveless jacket
- Long black and gray bib hood: worn with a burgundy coat THANK YOU
- Red hood: worn with a gray FLOW coat
